Maria is a lawyer with over ten years of experience in corporate law, capital markets, banking, and pension fund investments.

Before working at LexFinance, Maria worked at the Peruvian Capital Market Regulations Agency (CONASEV) and has been a Legal Advisor to Financiera TFC. Maria was a Senior Attorney at Torres + Associate where she specialized in pension funds, stock market financing structures, investment funds and M&A transactions.

Maria has a Bachelor of Law from Universidad Nacional Mayor de San Marcos, and a Master in Law and Corporate Finance from Universidad ESAN (first of her class). She has also earned a diploma in International and Investment Arbitration from Universidad del Pacifico in Lima (December, 2015).
